Orange County Halloween Events

Orange County is a great place to be during the Halloween season. There are so many events going on that are fun for couples, friends, and families. If you really want to get into the Halloween spirit this season, check out some of our favorite Orange County Halloween events:

Knott’s Scary Farm – Buena Park, CA

Knott’s Berry Farm is turned into Knott’s Scary Farm every Halloween season, and it’s a fun time for families and children of all ages! This theme park will keep you entertained with Halloween-themed live entertainment, interactive mazes, roaming live monsters, and Halloween treats and goodies.

The Empty Grave – Anaheim, CA

This event is geared towards older children, teenagers, and adults. The Empty Grave takes place at Anaheim Gardenwalk, which is a shopping plaza a few minutes away from Disneyland. Participants will get to walk through a haunted course that features live actors, special effects, gas machines, and more. This event runs on select days throughout the Halloween season.

Main Street Halloween Fest – Huntington Beach, CA

This event takes place on Halloween itself in downtown Huntington Beach. Familes and children can participate in this interactive event that features pumpkin carving, a petting zoo, ferris wheel, costume contests, treats, and more.

Treats in the Streets – Orange, CA

Treats in the Streets is a fun event in the Old Town Orange Plaza and is open for families and children of all ages. The city closes off the streets and allows merchants to decorate their storefronts. Children are allowed to trick or treat in the streets and visit the various storefronts for candy and other goodies.

Boo at the Zoo – Santa Ana, CA

This event takes place at the Santa Ana Zoo and is geared towards younger kids who enjoy both animals and Halloween. Kids can enjoy trick or treating amongst the animals, as well as storytelling, a costume parade, and engaging animal presentations.
